Since this is getting posted on Halloween, why not go with the actual devil as my favourite character?
In the show, Lucifer runs a club in LA after getting bored of running Hell with help from Mazikeen, who's basically a mix of his servant and, like, kinda his only friend at one point.
He's pretty sleazy, sometimes doesn't respect boundaries and very sarcastic. I mean, he's a English guy in an American series, if he didn't fit any of those requirements, he would have been very posh and there are too many posh English characters, omfg. Or he would have been overly polite and that wouldn't have worked at all.
It's strange how he has developed as a character. I mean, would you expect the Devil to develop as a person? I didn't think I'd ever write that... But yeah, he actually became a slightly better person, somehow. I mean at the beginning of series one, he would have "had sex" with drunk girls, which is pretty shitty and gross, but later in the series, he turns down Chloe's proposal for sex when she's shitfaced
He's also weirdly nice to Chloe's kid, Trixie. In a weird demony way. I mean in like a terrible uncle way, Idek.
He's still basically an arsehole though, which is often funny. And he's pretty short sighted, which gets him into pretty funny scrapes.
Something they need to explain though is why does Chloe weaken Lucifer? I mean he nearly died because her presence makes him vulnerable for some reason. There's a theory that she's an Angel or something, but that wouldn't weaken Lucifer in the way it does, Amenadiel doesn't affect Lucifer and Lucifer is technically an angel anyway... They'll probably explain it at some point. Probably.
